Shanhua Monastery

善化寺
Shànhuà Sì

A quieter Liao and Jin temple by the south wall, with the twenty-four devas in painted clay.

Fewer visitors than Huayan and older bones. The Sanshen Hall's figures from the twelfth century are the reason to come. Ten minutes' walk from the Drum Tower.
