Iron Pagoda

铁塔
Tiětǎ

A thirteen-storey pagoda of iron-brown glazed brick from 1049, still standing after every flood.

Fifty-six metres, in a park in the north-east corner of the walls. You can climb the tight spiral inside for a small extra ticket. Quiet on weekday mornings.
