Daxiangguo Temple

大相国寺
Dàxiàngguó Sì

The Song imperial temple, rebuilt in the Qing, with a thousand-armed Guanyin carved from a single tree.

In the Song it was the city's market temple, and the Qingming Scroll's crowds would have known it. The Guanyin in the octagonal pavilion is the piece to see. Ten minutes from the night market.
