Ming Xiaoling
The first Ming emperor's tomb: a spirit path of stone animals under plane trees.
The Elephant Road with its pairs of stone camels, elephants and lions is the reason to come; in November the trees along it turn and the whole city walks through. The tomb mound behind is unexcavated.
