Closed Mondays. Book on the official account up to a week ahead, and go in through the south gate.

Reservation needed

Real-name booking with passport number; releases at 20:00 seven days ahead and sells out on weekends.

Enter from the south (Meridian Gate) and leave from the north, then climb Jingshan Park opposite for the view back over the roofs. Allow three hours. The Treasure Gallery and Clock Gallery are worth the small extra tickets.
