Yangshuo station is not in Yangshuo

The high-speed station called Yangshuo is in Xingping, about 40 minutes north-east of town by bus, which is a surprise if you arrive at night with a bag. Trains from Guilin take 25 minutes and from Guangzhou about two and a half hours.

The alternatives: a bus from Guilin's stations, about 90 minutes into the town centre, or a shuttle from Guilin airport, roughly an hour and a half. Tell your guesthouse which one you are on — most will send a driver, and it is worth it.
