Shang City walls and the Shangdu Museum

The wall is the oldest thing in Zhengzhou and the least advertised: a grassy earth rampart twenty metres wide at the base, with people walking dogs on top and apartment blocks behind. The Shangdu museum at the south-east corner explains what was found inside — bronze foundries, bone workshops, the ding cauldrons — and is free with ID. Walk the eastern stretch at dusk.
