Qingyan Ancient Town
A Ming garrison town of stone walls, temples and pig's-trotter shops, half an hour south.
Bus from the city or a taxi. Four gates, a town wall to walk, a Catholic church and a mosque inside. Eat the braised trotters and the rose candy. Stay the night and the lanes are silent.
