Streets stack on top of each other here, so a map that says you have arrived may have you eight floors below your hotel, and satellite positioning gives up in the middle of it.
Navigate by metro exit numbers, ask which floor you are on rather than which street, and use the lifts and escalators that link levels — locals treat them as public transport, because they are. Ten minutes of walking can be twenty of climbing; account for it in the evening.
