Angus English Corner
A free Sunday-afternoon English corner, 15:30–17:30, started by a local organiser and a French friend who wanted one that never charges. There's no topic and no rules: just conversation, open to anyone who can hold a basic chat in English. You can walk in; nobody has to order, but the organisers ask that you buy a drink if few people do, since the café gives them the space.
It meets on the ground floor of the Bingo Space building on the east plaza of Shenzhen North station, Exit D, at the 大快活 café. Show the Chinese address to a driver or search it in a map app.
The organiser's Douban page lists it every Sunday from 9 August, with 1 November the last date in the current period. It has run for several periods, so it may carry on, but check with the organiser before you go.
We don't run these events: members post them, and we list some from organisers' public pages. Meet in public, tell someone where you're going, and report anything that feels off.
