Shenzhen Bay Park

The path runs from the Shenzhen Bay crossing east towards Futian, flat the whole way and busy with runners and kite flyers at dusk. Talent Park, halfway along, puts the water and the towers in one frame. From October to March the mudflats hold black-faced spoonbills and thousands of other migrants: the nature reserve itself needs a permit, but the public mangrove park beside it does not, and the fence line is enough with binoculars. Free, open all hours.
