The Naxi capital before Dayan, still a farming village with Ming temple murals.
The murals in Dabaoji Palace mix Buddhist, Taoist and Dongba imagery; a small ticket. Then walk the fields toward the mountain, or cycle here from Shuhe on the back roads.
