museum Zhōngguó Cháyè Bówùguǎn
China National Tea Museum
Tea's whole story in two quiet sites among the plantations, joined by a path through the fields.
The Shuangfeng site on Longjing Road holds the main galleries: how tea is grown, picked and fired, and the cups it was drunk from. The second site sits up the hill at Wengjiashan, near Longjing village, and a walking path through the tea fields links the two. Good on a hot or wet afternoon, and an easy pairing with the walk to Longjing village. Check opening days with the museum before you go.
